I’ve seen the screen grab. I’ve watched this video multiple times. I’m still holding out hope that this is somehow fake. Who is reading the teleprompter in Oakland, Ron Burgandy? Obviously, all of these names are very wrong. [via Bill Voth]

[UPDATE II, 9 PM: Incredibly, the NTSB is blaming this on an intern. “Earlier today, in response to an inquiry from a media outlet, a summer intern acted outside the scope of his authority when he erroneously confirmed the names of the flight crew on the aircraft.”]
