Bill Nye's First Pitch Succumbed to Gravity Before Reaching the Catcher [Video]

Science whiz and hero to children everywhere Bill Nye threw out the first pitch in Seattle last night. He did so while wearing a bow tie and showing off timeless dance moves. Someone also got the opportunity to put  a “Science Guy” nameplate on a Mariners jersey, which must have been a ton of fun.

There was no happier moment for a student in the 1990s than when a substitute teacher wheeled out that television and Nye’s theme song began to play. Except lunch, of course.
