Jordan Spieth is the 19-year old from Texas who became the first teenager to win on the PGA Tour in 82 years last week at the John Deere Classic. Today Spieth played the first round of the British Open, finishing the day tied for 9th at -2. Other random guys tied for 9th include Phil Mickelson, Tiger Woods and Angel Cabrera. Not bad. To finish his time at the course, Spieth sat down with ESPN’s Tom Rinaldi. Rinaldi joked about Spieth not having enough underwear last weekend and then completely missed Spieth extending his hand for a handshake. Tom Rinaldi left Jordan Spieth hanging.
