Baltimore Man Convicted of Murder After Killing Man With a Sword Over a Football Debt

Todd Marrow, a 46-year old Baltimore man, was convicted today of killing another man over a football debt. The jury only took two hours to find Marrow guilty of the murder of Orville Chamblee after a 5-day trial. In February 2012, Marrow found his tires slashed. The next day, Marrow and another man showed up at Chamblee’s house and Marrow pulled a sword, sheathed in a cane, out of his trunk. According to this article from 2009, the use of swords in Baltimore is not uncommon.

*Couldn’t find a mugshot of Morrow, so here’s a picture of Dallas Braden’s sword.
