Eagles receiver Jeremy Maclin suffered an apparent leg injury at practice today and was carted off the field. According to those at the scene, Maclin was on the ground writhing in pain for several minutes before being helped onto the cart by two trainers. It was a non-contact injury, so whatever it is can’t be good. It’s worth noting that Maclin tore the ACL in his right knee while at Missouri.
Maclin led the Eagles with 857 receiving yards and seven touchdowns last season.
A mere two days into training camp and Chip Kelly is already prepared to light his visor on fire.
UPDATE: It’s a torn ACL, the same knee he tore in college.
