Jet boat racing fans got a little closer than usual to the action in Tangent, Oregon on Saturday. One of the boats competing at the Field of Dreams in Tangent (located outside Albany, Oregon, mid-way-ish between Eugene and Portland) lost control and left the water, heading straight into the crowd. The boat took out a chain link fence and ended up underneath a tent. Luckily, the only injury appeared to be a little boy who escaped with a minor scratch. [Eugene Daily News]
