Percy Harvin’s hip injury will require surgery, according to a report from Percy Harvin.

Harvin wanted a second opinion after he was diagnosed with a partially torn labrum and the team wanted him to play through it. Keep that in mind as Harvin is the one now saying he is having surgery. Maybe the team notified him of that decision, but so far the player is the source. According to Ian Rapoport, the timetable for recovery after surgery is 3-4 months, putting his possible return in November or early December.
