Rajai Davis Hit Ball to Pitcher, Scored After Multiple Errors [Video]

Rajai Davis hit a sharp grounder back to Jon Lester in the third inning of tonight’s Boston Red Sox-Toronto Blue Jays game. Then the fun began.

Lester’s flip to first base was way off-line and rolled into no man’s land. Shane Victorino eventually picked it up, but his throw to third base hit the speedy Davis and bounded away once again.

It went as a single and errors were charged to both Lester and Victorino.

The whole play had the feel of Little League — only with much smaller players.
