Allyson Felix Tears Hamstring During 200-Meter Race in Moscow [Video]

Allyson Felix tore her hamstring during the 200-meter race at the IAAF World Championships in Moscow. The reigning Olympic gold medalist in the event pulled up in pain as Jamaica’s Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce went on to win.

Felix was understandably devastated after the injury and her future availability is unclear.

“It is a serious injury, but I don’t know exactly to what extent,” she said. “I wish all of my teammates the best for the rest of the meet.”
