Marshall Henderson is expected to be in class next week when the semester begins at Ole Miss according to ESPN’s Andy Katz. Henderson, the troubled but talented shooting guard who lit up the SEC last year, annoying opposing fans in every venue, failed at least one drug test over the summer, and was suspended by the Rebels. During a traffic stop, police officers found a small amount of cocaine and marijuana in his car, but did nothing.
With Henderson, Ole Miss will be an NCAA contender. Last year, the Rebels got hot in the SEC tournament – thanks to Henderson – and reached the NCAA tournament, where they upset Wisconsin. Without Henderson, Ole Miss will be completely irrelevant and almost certainly scrubbed from appearing on National TV.
