"Hakuna Machado" is Your New Baltimore Orioles Rallying Cry ... Or Not

Manny Machado might not be the household name like his fellow 20-something baseball phenoms like Mike Trout and Bryce Harper, but he does have his own Disney-inspired song. Yep, the Orioles took time out of their pursuit of one of the American League Wild Card spots to record “Hakuna Machado.”

Here’s a sample lyric: “It’s the latest craze. It means no errors at third whenever he plays.”

You know what, I’m just going to leave it at that. Maybe this is your cup of tea. Maybe it isn’t. Let’s applaud the Orioles team spirit and creativity.

They’re going to need after last night’s loss to the Indians dropped them four games back in the Wild Card race, cutting their postseason probability to 5.5 percent.
