Kirby Smart, Alabama’s excellent defensive coordinator, is thoroughly confused by what Texas A&M is doing so far in the Game of the Century. Johnny Manziel and the Aggies marched down the field at will the first two times they had the ball, and grabbed a 14-0 lead. Texas A&M averaged a whopping 9.6 yards per play in the first quarter in just three drives.
