Philip Rivers Proves He's Not a Kicker on Chargers' Hilarious Final Play vs. Titans
By Mike Cardillo
Justin Hunter picked the right time to make his first NFL catch, hooking up with Jake Locker for a 44-yard touchdown catch with 15 seconds left to lift the Titans to a 20-17 come-from-behind win over the Chargers Sunday afternoon in Nashville, Tenn.
Locker (new master of the two-minute drill?) marched the Titans down the length of the field without any timeouts.
San Diego got the ball back with 15 seconds left. After a quick pass to Eddie Royal the Chargers had one last try. They attempted a series of laterals that finally ended with Philip Rivers kicking the ball after it landed on the ground. Try humming yakety sax while you watch. It only enhances the futility.
