Rangers rookie Jurickson Profar drilled a pinch-hit, walk-off home run Thursday night as Texas beat Anaheim, 6-5. The win kept Texas within a game of Cleveland for the American League’s second Wild Card spot with three to go, as the Indians hung on to beat the Twins despite another Chris Perez meltdown in the ninth.

The 20-year-old Profar was greeted by teammates at home plate. Things got a little rowdier in the clubhouse when they doused him with beer.

Profar is only 20-years old and not yet of legal drinking age.

Closer Joe Nathan provided this tremendous quote to the Dallas Morning News:

"“Well, he didn’t drink any,” Nathan said. “He just wore it. Clothes aren’t under age.”"

The Rangers continue their series with the Angels in Arlington. Cleveland plays at Minnesota.

Matt Garza was clearly pumped up.
