Geno Smith Ran Backwards into the End Zone, Was Tackled, But the Refs Didn't Call a Safety

Geno Smith inside his own 10-yard line is dangerous. Remember when he ran out of the back of the end zone in a preseason game? Well, this happened in the 3rd quarter against Tennessee, and somehow, refs gave him “forward progress” and the ball at the 1-yard line … even though Smith was running backwards, holding the ball like a doofus. Smith looks like a terrified rookie in the wake of this swarming Tennessee defense.
