In 2010, it appears he paid tribute to Ron Burgundy by saying, “I’m Tony Gonzalez?” when recording his player intro for Sunday Night Football. This appears to have entertained the NBC production team as much as it made me chuckle, as they have used that question-marked intro for four straight seasons. By next year, maybe Gonzalez will have a fresh take on his intro. Unless he actually retires.
