Brandon Bass is Learning How to Swim at 28-Years Old

Brandon Bass is learning how to swim at the Boys & Girls Club of Boston. Bass, who grew up in Baton Rouge, did not learn how to swim as a child. Neither did anyone else in his family. Now Bass is learning so he can feel safe with his son, Brandon Jr., who loves to swim. In 2009, Bass bought a vacation home on a lake that has a pool. Bass is taking lessons with 10 kids and helping promote a swimming program for inner-city youth. That is where this amazing photograph came from.
