Steve Spurrier Seemed A Bit Tipsy On His Coaches Show [UPDATE]

Steve Spurrier’s coaches show appearance, following the UCF game, has generated some controversy. His camera time (beginning around 12:00), on his own show, was minimal. When he was on camera, he appeared to be slurring his words a bit. He said his team needed to “cut that crap out,” which some interpret as more blunt than usual.

[UPDATE: Spurrier tells the State’s Josh Kendall he had the video pulled because he felt he was “too negative” toward some coaches. When Spurrier was asked if he was impaired, he said, “I hope not.”]

According to Deadspin, a replay of the episode was not aired as scheduled.
