NLDS: Cardinals vs. Pirates, Game 2

The Cardinals look to take a 2-0 lead on the Pirates today in Game 2 of their NLDS series at Busch Stadium. St. Louis shelled A.J. Burnett Thursday in a 9-1 victory.

Game two’s pitching matchup: Gerrit Cole, Pittsburgh’s former #1 pick, against Lance Lynn.

The game is on MLB Network with Bob Costas and Jim Kaat on the call. Say what you will about Costas, but having Kaat involved is a good thing for baseball. MLB Network also got Ray Liotta to narrate their intro, which is set on the Iowa cornfield made famous in “Field of Dreams.”
