Dario Franchitti wrecked his IndyCar during the Grand Prix of Houston on Sunday. Franchitti was left with two fractured vertebrae and a broken ankle. Thirteen fans were injured by flying debris. This video taken by a spectator shows the view from the crowd. It further shows how lucky everyone was – both Franchitti and the fans – to survive this wreck. The only thing keeping this car from taking out all these people was a chain link fence.
