Victor Page: 33 Crimes in 3 1/2 Years, Now Serving 10 Years in Jail

Image (1) VICTOR-PAGEJR-1864235.jpg for post 113699Victor Page, the former Georgetown basketball star who once shared a backcourt with Allen Iverson, is incarcerated once again. According to Nathan Fenno of the Washington Times, Page is serving a 10 year sentence in Maryland for a heinous crime he committed in February.

“The suspect jumped out of bed, pulled the victim’s hair tearing it from the scalp,” the statement of probable cause read. “He then dragged her to the bathroom, throwing her into the tub and running hot water on her while punching the victim repeatedly in the face.”

“The suspect then ran into the kitchen and grabbed a knife and stabbed the victim on her right hand and right thigh,” the statement read. “The victim then ran outside as the suspect chased her with the knife and stated he was going to kill her.”

Of all the freakish, ghastly mugshots online, I still believe the one of Page, with one black eye and another eye covered by an eye patch, is one of the most haunting, especially because of how talented a basketball player he was. He was the MVP of the Big East tournament (over Iverson!) and led the conference in scoring. [via Washington Times]
