Yes, David Ortiz has done it again. Big Papi officially loves October much like a fat kid loves cake.
Should Boston hang on for the win, tomorrow’s civil baseball discussion will be centered around two questions:
1) Has David Ortiz finally proved that “clutch” does in fact exist?
2) Did you know that David Ortiz was one of seven players — an infamous list that included buddies A-Rod and Manny — to fail a drug test in 2003?
Of most importance might be Tim McCarver’s ultra crafty line of “a monster hit it over the monster.” Inventive and inspiring.
