James Taylor Offered His Unique Take on the National Anthem at Fenway Park

James Taylor sang the National Anthem before the start of Game 2 of the World Series at Fenway Park Thursday night in Boston. Instead of starting with ‘the Star-Spangled Banner’ the Rock and Roll Hall of Famer began with a few strains of “America the Beautiful” before catching himself.
Anyone who appeared as a guest voice on a golden-era episode of “The Simpsons” gets a pass.
