San Diego State University’s baseball team apparently has the greatest tradition in the history of baseball. Around Halloween, the players all dress up in costumes and play baseball. Thus, you get Buddy the Elf starting a double play by fielding a grounder at third. You get the Facebook app throwing out a baby at first. You get a Chargers cheerleader hitting a home run. And most important of all – the Jamaican bobsled team attempting to round the bases. In the future, this game should be televised in its entirety and treated to all the pomp and circumstance of the Super Bowl.
