Carlos Dunlap's Hustle Play to Strip Lamar Miller Before the End Zone Was Outstanding

Carlos Dunlap, a defensive end on the Cincinnati Bengals, hustled downfield 45 yards to make an amazing play and not only prevent a touchdown, but cause a turnover. Miami’s Lamar Miller appeared corralled on the sideline near midfield, but danced around a few tacklers and broke off a long run, the Dolphins’ best run in weeks. As Miller got inside the 15, for some reason he cut the run to the right, instead of bolting left.

That’s when the 6-foot-6, 280-pound Dunlap appeared out of nowhere to strip Miller from behind. It was the first fumble of Miller’s career. The ball bounced into the end zone and Adam Jones of the Bengals scooped it up and ran it back about 30 yards.

The Bengals lead 3-0 in the second quarter.
