Curtis Granderson received a qualifying offer from the Yankees on Monday worth $14.1 million. His day got even better that night when he appeared to win free airline tickets shooting the puck from center ice during a Chicago Blackhawks promotion. Not a bad little day, eh?
Granderson attended the University of Illinois at Chicago and is a native of the state. The White Sox have long been rumored as a possible landing spot for the 32-year-old with 40-home run power.[via Cut4]
