Randy Johnson Attends High School Volleyball Game, Has Trouble Finding Jeans and Socks That Fit

bigunitFive-time Cy Young Award winner Randy Johnson took in Arizona girls high school volleyball game on Tuesday. Since this is the age of everyone owning phones with cameras the picture found its way to Reddit and now here where we can all marvel at his apparent fondness for ankle-length Nike socks.

The Tuscon Citizen confirms Johnson attended the game. His daughter Willow, who plays for Scottsdale Notre Dame, is mentioned in the story.

I’m going to applaud Johnson for being a “cool dad.” Plus, haven’t we all sat down in pants that were too short, exposing out bare ankles? Above all, it’s probably hard to find clothes that fit when you’re a 6-foot-10 retired big leaguer. Good job Randy, keep doing you.
