Ron English Fired By Eastern Michigan Over This Tirade, Here's The Audio [UPDATE]

Eastern Michigan terminated head football coach Ron English, effective immediately, for what athletic director Heather Lyke termed “inappropriate language” when addressing the team. English, a former DC at Michigan, went on a triade at his 1-8 Eagles, which can be heard below via audio from the Detroit News. A LOT of Bleeping.

Apparently, 11 wins over five seasons doesn’t earn one a lot of leeway with motivational speeches. The search will begin immediately to find a new coach, for the program which should be competing at FCS level.

UPDATE: Here is the uncensored version of the audio, via Deadspin. Language NSFW, obviously.
