Tavon Austin, one of the fastest rookies in the NFL, ran this punt back 98 yards for a touchdown against the Colts, giving the Rams a shocking 21-0 lead on the road. This is one of those punts where you’re supposed to let it go into the end zone for a touchback … but naturally, the fearless rookie scooped it up, and probably surprised the Colts by doing so. After that, he ran a little zig zag on the sideline, and nobody got close to tackling him.
The Rams offense doesn’t know how to use Austin – blame coordinator Brian Schottenheimer – so just let him make plays on special teams.
