Kari Lehtonen May Have Changed Goaltending Forever By Sitting On His Goal During a Game

Dallas goalie Kari Lehtonen gave up 3 goals on 28 shots in the Stars 7-3 win over the Calgary Flames. Lehtonen had already made his final save of the evening when he did something that could change the way goaltenders spend their time forever. During a stoppage of play late in the 3rd, Lehtonen hopped on up on the goal and sat down. This delighted the Fox Sports Southwest announcers who had never seen such a thing. Hopefully, this leads to more goaltenders trying this during games. Eventually, someone will fall over backwards or not get down in time and give up a comically long goal. The possibilities are endless.
