Kevin Mirallas Bloodied Luis Suarez with a Karate Kick, Only Got a Yellow Card

Kevin Mirallas flew into Luis Suarez with a Mortal Kombat-style finishing move during Saturday’s Merseyside Derby between Everton and Liverpool. The challenge left Suarez bloodied on the knee as a result of Mirallas’ recklessness.

Naturally Mirallas only received a yellow card from referee Phil Dowd.

Suarez might be a jerk, but that’s a straight red card in anyone else’s book.
