Luis Suarez Defied the Laws of Physics with his Free Kick vs. Everton
By Mike Cardillo
Luis Suarez scored on a insanely curved free kick against Everton Saturday in the Merseyside Derby. The Uruguayan striker bent the ball around the (ragged) Everton wall, beating American keeper Tim Howard for his ninth goal of the Premier League seasons in only seven games. It put Liverpool ahead 2-1 over their biggest rivals.
Suarez might be an unsavory character, but he’s putting together an utterly brilliant season.
Perhaps the Everton wall should have been positioned better by Howard. Either way, there was one place for Suarez to hit the ball to get it past Howard and he did just that.
