Philip Rivers Was Pumped After Throwing the Game Winning Touchdown Against the Chiefs
By Jason Lisk
Philip Rivers had to overcome a lot today. Bitter cold weather, Andy Reid’s butt, and the Chargers’ dreadful defense. Of course, he also got to play against a Chiefs team without both Tamba Hali and Justin Houston, who left with injuries. San Diego had 3 points when Houston got hurt. They scored 38 in little over a half, as the Chiefs got torched without their pass rushers.
Kansas City took a lead with 1:22 left, but Rivers led a drive down the field, and hit Seyi Ajirotutu for the throw to the end zone.
Rivers was a little excited.
