The Warriors and Trailblazers Got Into a Bit of a Skirmish Last Night [Video]

There were some fisticuffs during the third quarter of last night’s 113-101 Portland victory at Golden State last night. After Joel Freeland and Andrew Bogut were battling under the basket, several members of both teams jumped into the scrum. It escalated pretty quickly, Mo Williams got tangled up with Bogut, LaMarcus Aldridge got involved as well, and there was even a cameo from Jermaine O’Neal.

When the dust settled, Williams, Wesley Matthews, and Draymond Green were ejected while Bogut, Freeland, and Aldridge received technicals. It’s a little bit curious that Bogut, who really started and helped intensify the fight, was allowed to remain in the game and it will be interesting to see if he and anybody else face discipline from the league office in the fallout.

NBA: Portland Trail Blazers at Golden State Warriors

Afterwards, it seemed like at least the victorious Blazers were willing to let bygones be bygones:

The teams don’t play each other again until January 26th in Golden State.
