Bill Belichick took the wind in overtime after winning the toss, exactly eleven years after Marty Morninwheg infamously did it in an overtime game with Detroit.

The game went back and forth in overtime when New England punted it back to Denver, with former Patriot Wes Welker back to make the safe punt catch. Instead, the punt came short, the warning call came late or was not heard, and the ball hit Tony Carter. New England recovered and made the field goal, with the wind, moments later. And yes, that was backup quarterback Brock Osweiler going for the block.
