Nick Saban is Only 7-5 in November Since 2010

Nick Saban is only 7-5 in November over the last four years? That’s a shocking record, given that Alabama has won two straight BCS titles, and was in the mix to play for number three had it not been shocked by Auburn today. Saban racked up four I-AA (or FCS, if you prefer) wins in November the last four Novembers (Georgia State, Georgia Southern, Western Carolina, Chattanooga), but those are money plays, and we’ll leave them out of the discussion.

Here’s the breakdown:

2010
November 6 at #10 LSU L 24-21
November 13 #17 Mississippi State W 30-10
November 18 Georgia State W 63–7
November 26 #2 Auburn L 28-27

2011
November 5 #1 LSU #2 L 6–9 OT
November 12 at Mississippi State W 24–7
November 19 Georgia Southern W 45–21
November 26 at Auburn W 42–14

2012
November 3 at #5 LSU W 21–17
November 10 #15 Texas A&M L 24–29
November 17 Western Carolina W 49–0
November 24 Auburn W 49–0

2013
November 9 #10 LSU W 38–17
November 16 at Mississippi State W 20–7
November 23 #23 Chattanooga W 49–0
November 30 at #4 Auburn L 28–34

When Alabama’s 2014 schedule is released, look to November. That’s when Nick Saban and the Tide are going to lose. Assuming, of course, he doesn’t leave for Texas.
