South Florida's Athletic Director Had His Tires Slashed While Attending Game Against Central Florida

University of South Florida athletic director Doug Woolard’s car was vandalized during last night’s game against Central Florida in Orlando. Upon returning to his vehicle after the Knights’ 23-20 victory, Woolard discovered his tires had been slashed.

UCF athletics provided Woolard with a courtesy car to drive back to Tampa on Friday night. Knights’ athletic director Todd Stansbury drove Woolard’s car back to Tampa on Saturday morning.

“I want to publicly apologize to Doug,” Stansbury said in a statement. “I’m disappointed and embarrassed that this happened at our facility. I’m thankful our friends at Carl Black came through with transportation for him to get back home. We always encourage good sportsmanship and responsible behavior and this was neither.”

Bulls defensive end Aaron Lynch was also happy with his postgame shower.
