Adrian Peterson Carted Off to Locker Room with Ankle Injury

Adrian Peterson injured his ankle during Sunday’s Vikings/Ravens game at snowy M&T Bank Stadium. It appears like he turned his ankle, although the snow makes it hard to tell. After writhing on the ground he was eventually carted back to the locker room for tests.

It looks bad and there is no official word on the extent of the injury other than that it’s to his ankle. We’ll update as information comes in. Fantasy football owners across the world collectively hold their breath.

Update: FOX’s Jennifer Hale said he was walking under his own power awaiting X-rays.
