Newcastle and Southampton Brawled After Moussa Sissoko Accidentally Decked the Ref

Newcastle midfielder Moussa Sissoko accidentally smacked referee Mike Jones in the nose during the waning minutes of today’s 1-1 draw with Southampton after overreacting to a push by Paulo Gazzaniga. Once that bleeding ceased, things really got out of control. The two teams went at it during stoppage time in the form of a bench-clearing brawl.
As in the match, there were no clear winners in all the shovin’.
