Brad Meester, the Jags' Retiring Center, Caught a Pass For a Fat Man First Down
By Tim Ryan
Brad Meester has been a member of the Jacksonville Jaguars for his entire 14-year NFL career. I’ll allow that weighty nugget of information to marinate for a minute.
Meester has plans to retire at season’s end, so the Jags made sure his final home game would make for a memorable experience by gifting the loyal fella with a screen pass that led to a fat man first down. Beautiful. Now please find a way to to get this guy a touchdown. It’s the least this franchise could for a man who’s been trapped in inept Jacksonville his whole career.
