Meanwhile, Miami came in needing a home win against the Jets. They could not get it. A week after getting shutout in Buffalo, they score 7 at home with the playoffs on the line.

The effect of all this? San Diego wins against a Kansas City, and they are the #6 seed. If San Diego somehow loses at home against a Chiefs team that is resting its stars, then it will be the Pittsburgh Steelers as the 8-8 team to get in.
