Jim Schwartz got all twisted down the stretch run with his Lions poised to make the playoffs. Detroit lost six of the final seven games, often in agonizing and turnover-filled fashion. He made the postseason in 2011, but only one appearance in five years caught up with him after two straight years of underachieving.
