Tim Tebow is coming to ESPN, only this time in the role of an analyst. He’ll be used primarily on SEC Nation, the channel’s version of GameDay alongside host Joe Tessitore and Paul Finebaum. Tebow will make his debut as an analyst on Jan. 6 during the pregame for the BCS Championship Game.
Earlier this month our Jason McIntyre wrote that Tebow was the subject of a bidding war between ESPN, CBS and FOX.
This announcement should serve as confirmation that Tebow’s career as an NFL quarterback is all but over, although he has a release option if a team wants to sign him.
