The Pittsburgh Pirates are rebranding. Part of the rebranding effort will include abandoning a pirate logo for the first time since 1936, in favor of the staid, yellow “P.” Where would we be without consulting firms?
The impact of fervent lobbying from the Caribbean Pirate community, who objected to scurvy land-lovers implying they all wore gaudy hoop earrings, gave menacing looks and made terrible decisions with facial hair, on this decision is unclear.
