College Football’s off-season arrest period has commenced. Missouri’s star wide receiver Dorial Green-Beckham was arrested last night in Springfield, MO for a drug-related incident. He was released from jail and has not yet been charged. This is Green-Beckham’s second drug-related incident. He was arrested for marijuana possession in October 2012 and suspended for one game.
Green-Beckham, a 6’6″ wide receiver, was the nation’s No. 1 overall recruit in 2012. He was Missouri’s second leading receiver in 2013, catching 59 passes for 883 yards and 12 touchdowns.
UPDATE: More details have emerged about the arrest. Green-Beckham was arrested after marijuana was found during a traffic stop. He has still not been formally charged.
