After Jimmy Graham had a pre-game shouting match with Seahawks players yesterday, the Saints tight end was held to just one catch for eight yards in his team’s 23-15 loss.
When asked why Graham was a non-factor, Seattle’s stud defensive lineman Michael Bennett offered a theory. “Because he’s overrated,” Bennett said. “If he doesn’t get a chance to get the ball — that’s all he can really do — he doesn’t help in the blocking game, so I think he’s overrated and I’m not scared to say that on TV.”
Mike Freeman added to that quote a little bit as well:
Seahawks’ Michael Bennett called Jimmy Graham soft and the most overrated player in the NFL.

In an era where many athletes speak in platitudes and are deathly afraid of the repercussions from an aggressive soundbite, it’s refreshing that Bennett told us how he really feels.
