President Obama welcomed the NBA champion Miami Heat to the White House on Tuesday. The President cracked some jokes about the Heat’s popularity around the league and even took a well-intentioned dig at Miami’s tendency to yell at Mario Chalmers. Obama said, “We should take a picture but make it quick before one of these guys starts yelling at Mario. I mean sometimes it’s just a bad pass guys, it’s not Mario’s fault. I got your back, man.”
Obama also said sometimes it feels like the Heat are still looking for respect. The President even made a comparison to the famous Chicago Bulls team that won 72 games. The Heat won 66 games — including 27-straight — in the regular season.
Pres. Obama praises the Heat for their winning streak last year…and then adds “almost as impressive as the Bulls 72-win season."—

Before you run to the comment section, Obama’s Bulls’ comparision drew laughs.
Either way, we’re still awaiting James Harrison to comment on this.
