Ernests Gulbis must be working through some issues at the Australian Open. Either that or he doesn’t deal with the heat very well. During his first round match, Gulbis smashed a racquet during victory. During his second round loss to Sam Querry (6-2, 6-3, 6-4), Gulbis smashed another racquet. Unfortunately, Gulbis’ early exit means he will not be able to break Marcos Baghdatis’ Australian Open record of four smashed racquets.
