Mike Zimmer is the new coach of the Minnesota Vikings, according to every media outlet in the world. Zimmer, who previously was the Cincinnati Bengals defensive coordinator, will take over a horrendous Minnesota defense that gave up the 2nd most yards in the NFL and was second-to-last against the pass. His departure means the Bengals will have lost both their offensive coordinator and defensive coordinator in the span of a eight days.
This also means there is only one team in the NFL without a head coach: The Cleveland Browns. This is what happens when you dump your coach after one season. This is what happens when your owner is in trouble with the FBI. Nobody wants to coach the Browns, despite the team having plenty of early draft picks, and a strong defense.
