You Can Watch the Metrodome Roof Get Deflated Tomorrow

The Metrodome is far and away the worst venue I’ve ever been to in professional sports. The aesthetics inside were ugly and distracting, and the air was stale. It’s demolishment, which begins in earnest tomorrow, is appointment viewing. According to Minnesota’s WCCO, the roof deflation event is being called “Dome-O Arigato”– Japanese for “thanks a lot” — and will take place from 11 am until 3pm local time.

If you don’t live in the area, but still wanna see the thing go, the Vikings will be broadcasting it on their web cam.

And of course, we must point out, that this whole thing has happened before by accident:
